But I did not.
I had breakfast at my Airbnb that is not as exciting as any Kahvaltı around so you won't be getting a picture of that. Maybe I'll learn to make menemen while I'm here though.
I decided to just walk all over town because apparently I can. I walked to a coffee shop that was about 2.5 miles away and had a proper cappuccino. The place is called No48Coffee and it was the best cappuccino that I've had in Türkiye. On my way to coffee I saw some people gazing at something in the water so I had to have a look.
This was my first time seeing a sea turtle in the wild. ❤️❤️❤️
After coffee I decided to just walk around aimlessly like I do and I stumbled into the old town of Fethiye.
I looked in a few shops and found this shirt particularly funny.
It was snack time so I found a good place to have an Adana kebap. I'm a fan of kebaps now. I shall try all the kebap in town.
I looked up and saw another castle…they had a thing for castles in this country and I'm not mad about it.
I realized that I was actually quite close to the Lycan tombs that are carved into the mountainside, so I had to have a gander.
Up some stairs and past some cats.
Up some more stairs and aha! The tomb.
No riches to be found so I walked back down and by this:
This is some hardcore carving if you ask me.
I walked about 6 miles today, biggest regret is that I haven't had Strava to cover all my tracks because I'm sure that I've walked more in 10 days than I have in months.
A couple of guys were waiting at home for me.
It's been a long day and I'm quite tired.
Goodnight from Fethiye.
