Rhodes Day 3 / by Tahlia Roper

I had to see Lindos. I had to. The Greeks told me it was a must see.

My mom kept questioning me, “are you going to the part of Greece with all the white buildings?”

I'm from Tulsa…I've seen plenty of white things.

But I had to anyways, not for me, but for my mom. I guess she went to Greece one time expecting whitewashed everything but ended up in not that part of Greece.

Anyhow I went to Lindos on my last full day on the island.

It was a fun route there and yes when i arrived…things were white.

I spent most of my time at the beach upon arrival and then I had a kebap as one does and while eating this fatty showed up looking way too cute on a neighboring roof.

And as the chicken pieces flew from my plate to his roof…the cats multiplied.

The orange and white cat was clearly the don of the situation. I had to strategically throw the chicken in order for the other cats to feed.

The view from the restaurant.

It was a beautiful town with winding corridors.

And of course they have their own castle perched on a hill.

Lindos was just another cherry on the delicious cake of Rhodes Island. I liked the whitewashed houses but I'm more of a castle dweller.

After Lindos it was time to pack for my journey back to Istanbul.
