How I'm recharging today / by Tahlia Roper

We all have to recharge and recenter ourselves. Just because I'm trompsing around a foreign country doesn't mean that I'm immune to getting carried away mentally. Recognizing that I've felt a bit scattered, I took time today to reset myself.

I started by reading(re-reading the untethered soul), doing my meditation, stretching, and hydrating.

I also made myself some Kanna honeybush tea. I heard about this tea on one of my favorite podcasts, The Huberman Lab.

You can't spell self-care without Kebap, or at least you can't if you're me, in love with kebaps in Turkey.

I had çay, because I'm tres chic. That pepper got a little hot about halfway in. It was pleasant and I also had salata because I'm in love with vegetables.

I stopped off at the grocery store to get supplies to paint my nails.

I gave myself a b- manicure and pedicure but it's passable and fun to look at.

I spent some time dancing and vibing, nothing makes me feel better than groovin'.

I came across a short and good podcast featuring Charlemagne the God on leaning into uncertainty…something I've had to do recently 😅.

Highly recommend giving it a listen.

Made myself another tasty sandwich/salad combo from the remaining ingredients in my fridge.

It's still early, I'll wait for the sun to start setting and then go take a waltz by the water and gander at the moon.

The moon, my lover.
