With intention, I've been able to change my life pretty dramatically…a few times over.
I, of course, get nowhere alone. We all need people, much more than we think. I've been lucky enough to gravitate towards people that inspire me and encourage me to be and do better(even if this was something they realized or not).
Today marks six months at my job 💞 - a job that I can honestly say I love.
When I started Holberton in January 2020 they had us pass around the mic and talk about why we decided to take the program.
The mic came to me and my reason was clear, “I'm doing this so I can get a remote tech job and be at home with my cat, where I'm needed most”
Now there are actually endless other reasons why I decided to go this route but the one I'm most fond of is that I get to be at home with my cat….who needs me most 🥲
Six months! It has felt like a breeze with a company that feels like family. My favorite part of any job is the people I work with and I work with so many interesting and kind individuals at my company now.
I have made my dreams come true and so I guess it's time to dream even bigger 💘
