I make hats, how about you?

This headpiece was made from a dead yucca plant that I harvested while working at Tropical Plant Design. People made fun of me because it looked so dead but I kept the plant in a pot for awhile and in the spring two babies popped out. I trimmed the plant and now it’s a headpiece.

My first felt hat featuring Xochitl Deseret.

What a doozy to hand-form. I couldn’t get the steam I needed so I used the steam of my shower to get the job done.
